Silke Bake & Peter Stamer

Silke Bake on pärit Berliinist ja töötab kuraatori ning dramaturgina. Ta on teinud koostööd mitmete festivalidega, näiteks Theater der Welt Berliinis ning institutsioonidega nagu TAT Frankfurdis, Hebbel-Theater Berliinis, Tanzquartier Viinis. Ta on välja töötanud teemapõhiseid programmiseeriaid Berliini House of World Culture, Berliini Kunstiakadeemia ja Theaterformen Braunschweigi jaoks. Tihedas koostöös André Lepeckiga (kuraator) oli ta vastutav performansikunsti festivali IN TRANSIT eest Berliini House of World Cultures’is 2008. ja 2009. aastal. Viimase kahe aasta jooksul on ta olnud vabakutselise dramaturgina tegev erinevate kaasaegse performansi, tantsu ja teatri projektides koos Jana Unmüssigi, Wilhelm Groeneri ja Milli Bitterliga. 2012. aastaks valmib tal projekt John Cage’i Lauluraamatute põhjal Berliini Kunstide Akadeemias (koos Reinhild Hoffmanni, Manos Tsangarise ja deufert+plischke’ga) ja Etenduslik Platform. Affektiivsed Kehad Berliini Sophiensäle’s koos Bettina Knaupiga. NU Performance Festival on Silke teine kuraatoriprojekt Eestis peale Euroopa Liidu koostööprojekti Colina juhtimist Tallinna versiooni 2006. aastal.

Peter Stamer töötab vabakutselise lavastaja, kuraatori, dramaturgi ja esinejana alates aastast 2002, peale tegutsemist Mannheimi Rahvusteatris ja Viini Tanzquartier’is. Ta on teinud koostööd koreograaf Philipp Gehmacheri, lavastaja Claudia Bosse ja esineja Daniel Aschwandeniga, kellega koos on ta välja töötanud erinevaid etenduslikke formaate, nagu näiteks nende otseesinemine raadionäitemängus Hiina Sosinad või dokumentaalne teatri-installatsioon Raha Teed. Hetkel on tal käsil uus teatriprojekt Ainult Sinu Silmadele ning koostöös toxic dreams’iga valmib lavastus John F. Kennedy’st, mis esietendub 2012 kevadel. Oma kuraatori tegevuses on Peter huvitatud ühiskondlike keskkondade performatiivsest jõust, nagu näiteks festival Küla, vestluste ja uurimuste seeria Praktika Ilma Paberiteta või Ehast Koiduni ja Edasi (koostöös Silke Bakega). www.practice-berlin.de

Silke Bake is based in Berlin and works as curator and dramaturge. She has worked for diverse festivals (including Theater der Welt 1999 in Berlin) and institutions (including TAT Frankfurt, Hebbel-Theater Berlin, Tanzquartier Wien) and developing a topic-bound program series for the House of World Culture Berlin, the Academy of the Arts Berlin, and the Theaterformen Braunschweig. In close collaboration with André Lepecki (curator), she was responsible for the IN TRANSIT Performing Arts Festival at the House of World Cultures in 2008 and 2009. During the last two years, she has been involved as a free-lance dramaturge in various contemporary performance, dance, and theatre projects, such as with Jana Unmüssig, Wilhelm Groener and Milli Bitterli. For 2012, she is preparing a project on John Cage’s Songbooks at the Academy of the Arts Berlin (together with Reinhild Hoffmann, Manos Tsangaris and deufert+plischke) and the Performance Platform. Affective Bodies at Sophiensäle Berlin, together with Bettina Knaup. The NU Performance Festival is Silke’s second curatorial assignment in Tallinn after heading up the Tallinn version of the EU-networking project Colina in 2006.

Peter Stamer works as a free-lance director, curator, dramaturge and performer since 2002 after engagements at Nationaltheater Mannheim and Tanzquartier Vienna. He has been collaborating with choreographer Philipp Gehmacher, director Claudia Bosse, and performer Daniel Aschwanden with whom he developed diverse performative formats such as the live radio play Chinese Whispers and the documentary theatre installation The Path of Money. He is currently developing a new theatre project For Your Eyes Only, and a new piece in collaboration with toxic dreams on John F. Kennedy will premiere in spring 2012. In his curatorial practice, Peter is interested in the performative power of social environments, a.o. realized in the festival The Village, the talk and research series Practice, Sans Papiers, From Dusk Till Dawn And Further (with Silke Bake).
